Before Master P and Three 6 Mafia had a lot of underground rap music, the Atlanta underground scene has always been there. The bass music overshadowed the other music in Atlanta, but Atlanta has had that street rap always!

When Master P came out, it did open up the doors for Atlanta and other towns in Georgia and the South in general as far as rap music. People like Master P, Cash Money, Rap A Lot, Three 6 Mafia all those people broke the doors down and gave us a helping hand to get our stuff out there. When Master P and other South Artists got so much attention then Atlanta underground rap got accepted by more people. When people like Master P blew up it opened the doors for a lot of independent artists.
