Sir Classic Presents “Dictator Records Block Party” During NC A&T Homecoming Week (GHOE) Greensboro, NC — October 5, 2025

Sir Classic announces the Dictator Records Block Party, a weeklong series of community events running Sunday, October 5 through Sunday, October 12, 2025, timed to coincide with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Homecoming Week (GHOE). The free, public celebration will take place at the Dictator Records shop and surrounding block, offering live music, family activities, food trucks, vendor booths, complimentary food and drinks, and a special surprise guest appearance.

The Dictator Records Block Party is designed as an inclusive neighborhood festival that honors Greensboro’s music culture and the energy of NC A&T’s homecoming traditions. Daily programming will include live DJs and local performers, interactive games, art displays, and community vendor showcases. Guests can expect a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with a rotating lineup of food trucks, local artisans, and partner organizations offering food and merchandise. Free refreshments and light bites will be available during scheduled hours to all attendees.

“We wanted to create a weeklong celebration that brings the block, the campus, and the wider community together,” said Sir Classic, founder of Dictator Records. “Homecoming is about pride, reunion, and joy. This block party is our way of highlighting local talent, supporting small businesses, and giving back to the people who make Greensboro vibrant. We’re also excited to welcome a special invited guest to the shop—something that will make this year’s GHOE truly memorable.”

Event highlights: - Free daily activities and live entertainment from October 5–12 - Food trucks and local vendor marketplace - Complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages during set times - Family-friendly programming, including games and art activities - Special surprise guest appearance at Dictator Records shop (details to be announced)

Safety and accessibility are top priorities. The block layout will include clear signage, seating areas, and accessible pathways. Local security and event staff will be on site to assist guests and ensure a safe, welcoming environment throughout the week.

The Dictator Records Block Party builds on Dictator Records’ commitment to fostering local music, culture, and entrepreneurship. By aligning the event with NC A&T’s homecoming activities, Sir Classic aims to create an authentic, community-first experience that celebrates both the university’s legacy and Greensboro’s creative scene.
